I thought the book could of been much better. It was kind of slow when it came to the action in the book.
It's a good book the problem is its left with a big Question mark I'm just waiting for part 2 too come out
I really enjoyed the book. I love when authors paint a vivid picture of the characters so I can really get into the swing of things. However, I don't like how Jacari died so soon but I'm eagerly waiting for part 2 if there is one. Royalti was truly a ride or die just hope she doesn't die in part 2
Thought this would be another urban fiction love story like all the rest but Cali impressed me. Kept me intrigued n definitely not like any of the others I've read n I've read plenty...patiently awaiting part 2
Not what I'm normally used to. It was an OK read. I started off slow and almost seemed like it jumped around and almost had me lost. Royalti didn't know what she was getting herself into or who she was dealing with. Maybe part two will be a little better. Cali is a good writer!
The good reviews had me excited but I was underwhelmed by the story. Royaltii is left to fend for herself after her dopeboy boyfriend's untimely death but instead of using her intelligence and focusing on school she tried to become a dopegirl of sorts and enter into a game she knows nothing about. The ending and storyline were blah...
